Resolved Question: Is there a such thing as child support fraud, and is it against the law?
Ok, my boyfriend now has a wonderful, sweet amazing 3 year old girl with his ex who ran around and cheated on him with 3 other guys and started doing drugs after she had the kid. He had custody for the first part of her life, then he got married to another woman who made his life hell and was abusive mentally and physically. The new woman made up a bunch of lies saying he beat her and choked her (she scratched her own throat and said he choked her). She dropped the charges because she knew she was lying and begged him back saying she was sorry and just mad. Well, the DA didn’t drop it. he wasn’t convicted but he had to take these stupid wife-beater classes that make him feel so horrible and he has to pay money for them, and he lost his commision as a county deputy, and to top it off. He lost custody of his first little girl. Well. He is trying to make a living for himself, he lived in Oklahoma, I live in a very nice part of Texas and make good money but it is still very hard to get by, and he pays $230 every month. Which is not that bad, he loves to help pay for his little girl, he loves her so much. But her mom works on minimum wage part time and constantly quits her jobs, can’t keep one, and stays with her dad and her dead-beat boyfriend. Apparently if she makes too much then my boyfriend doesn’t have to pay as much as he does. So it’s like she’s using him. And as soon as he started payments to her, she went out and got a brand new Ford Mustang (which she lives in a shack that’s not even worth $20,000 that her dad owns and she doesn’t pay any bills). I feel like she taking advantage of him and his child support. He won’t stop paying because he wants to support his girl and he’s always there for her, but it’s getting old. Especially when her boyfriend lost his job then called my boyfriend and said that he needed to pay another $100 a week!
I just need advice. He said his lawyer said it was a “waste of time”, but it seems like fraud to me, especially if her change in lifestyle occured right as he started making payments. (Even if it’s just a brand new car, which WE don’t even have brand new cars).
He’s such an angel and he just got mistreated and always tried to do the right thing and it’s like he’s just going through hell for it.

It’s not bothering just me. His mom and dad and their whole family are furious at her for being on drugs and that she still has the child. I don’t know about you, but Oklahoma works alot different.
She would OD her child on Tylenol so she would shut up and go to sleep, but there was no proof. He used to hide the tylenol from her to get her to stop. She swaddled the child all the time even till she was 3 months old in 90 degree heat outside. She’s neglectful. I went to their house and i was apauled. You could get flees just looking at the place.
It has nothing to do with the fact that she “lives in a shack and drives a nice car”. Her standard of living changed when she started getting payments. The child is sick all the time and she doesn’t even take her to the doctor, her dad does and pays for everything for the child. She pays nothing, but drives a new car.. wtf?
